artepupper 0.2

A small update to my artepupper rtmpdump gui wrapper to download arte liveweb video files. In 0.2 there's an option to download 'SD' video files ('HD', often not true HD at all anyway, was and is the default), and another checkbox to see what URL/Options are passed to rtmpdump itself. Download it here.

  1. You are a star! Thank you for posting your utility.

I've been breaking my head for a couple of days trying to work out how to download or capture the Flash video stream of a concert video hosted on the arte LIVE WEB site. I tried looking at the cache in Firefox 4 and 5 and in Opera, but things have changed with the latest Adobe Flash plug-in. I'm actually a Linux user but found your Windows solution, and used it successfully to download the concert video I wanted. I'm still looking for a solution for Linux.

  2. Further to my previous comment, I have now found a solution in Linux that worked for me: a Perl script livewebarte.pl by Carmlo Ingrao and Juan Domingo. See the link on the following Web page:

  7. Thank you very much for this wonderful tool. I have used it several times last year.
Today, I tried to use it again, but Artepupper seem to have stopped working.
When I click download, it responds with a message "Can't find code in second web page". Could you fix the problem?
